yes i am no longer in the Jabostaffle....
yes there is many parts to this, some personal, but it is over.
there was a "shake up" and the squad was disbanded.
there was an email sent out.
i was not included in the "to" list
after getting it forwarded to me it asked for a re "commitment" to the squad and it's ideals or something.
the JB's are not "gone" there are some that are not with them any more. some it seems were not desired, or that is the impression given.
based on what i knew, and the "vibe" i put in my resignation today about 1 PM, rather than be involved with the mess.
i will move on, and monday change my in-game name. i may change my bulletin board name also, but not positive.
there are a few others not in the JB's who may or may not have JB names.
after answering questions for 2/3 the night i thought you all should know LMAO.
all and see you in the skies bishops / knights / rooks. may fly for any, not quite sure yet. i am staying away from squads for a while, and getting back to why i love the game. the fun of it.

I heard 73 quit because he converted to scientology and 42 is a buddhist so after an extensive argument, all the other number people did the borg excommunication dance, and kicked 73 out.
I also heard that 73 was doing the pot and it affected his abilities to fly the luftwobble set of aircraft effectively.
Still further reports claim that 42 is carrying 73's illegitimate love child, and just like the new Britney Sprears news, it is now the case that 42 is indeed carrying twins. When born they will be named JB20 and JB21 regardless of sex.
Whatever the case, glad to see you are doing what you like to do 73. See ya up. :D

Yeah about time you got your self a name... my friends family has a farm... they name their cows with numbers... I mean as long as you fly cow skin planes its all ok but now... your actually a person and a human beeing.. so get a name!!! and good luck on your future endevors.

Hmmmmmm....you mean all those numbers are all different people?
Thought there was only one actual JB. That being 88.
I assumed that the rest were all artistic creations of 88`s and put into motion on shades accounts.

Case in point. Me and my squad mate tman were flying P51 and Yak combo winging a few weeks back on the Baltic map. We ended up in several engagements against 3 or 4 different JB's. usually 2v2 1v2 3v2 type fights. We had a blast killing and being kilt in those fights. Sad thing is I cant remember which JBs we fought. :( Sorry guys. You were worthy opponents for sure. But the number name's is too hard for me to remember. Maybe a JB can remind me?
JB's hope all goes well for you as a squad and to those who have broke away...G/L as well

When I fight the jbs, I usually know what number got me or which number I killed. Due to their name, thay are usually thought of as a whole. It doesn't matter which JB you fought, that point that leaves your mind is that you fought a JB. That is a close brotherhood squad. They usually fight in pairs, which is very awesome. When I shoot down a jb, I know there is another luft plane around and I know I am now being targeted. That worries me :)
JB73, I've fought you, and you are very good in those 190s and 109s. I've checked yours stats in those luft planes, and they show that you are good in those things. The JBs help keep a balance in the MA, by not flying the American, and RAF planes much. I fly the RAF most of the time and it's fun having a historical matchup in the MA.
I hate to see you leave the JBs, and I too noticed the break up of the squad. Thanks for clearing that up.

Oh man I'm well shook up about all you JB's breaking up, when I first started playing this game you lot took me under your wing & breed me JB style.
Mega respect goes out for JB22, JB18, JB17, JB77 & all the other JB's that helped me along the way.
P.S are there any space for me now :) lol (only joking FA all the way)

I'm sorry to hear of problems with The Jabostaffel...I left on good terms with them due to the decision to move to Knit land.
Usually the Jb's go by the number...so when you check my 6 it would be 66 6...one of these days i'm going to burn up my stash of fighter perks which I never use anyway and change CPID.
73, the most important thing of this game is to have fun! It is only a temporary escape from reality.

When I was Bish it was always a fun fight against the JB's.
Now my whole squad is Knight and we have found our home.
73 if you are ever looking for a squad you are more than welcome to fly with us if you like. Try it for a few days or however long you like. Alot of guys in my squad are ORIGINAL Knights and don't have the "SE" in front of their CPID. So, if you change your name like you stated and decided to join the SE's you could leave your handle alone and still be in the SE's.

The Jbs have not broken up! I repeat, we are not broken up!
I simply ejected every squad member, wrote an email that outlined what the squad was about and then gave tehn the option to rejoin. while it's true some elected not to rejoin, the majority did.
As for JB73, the squad is pretty upset with him taking this drama to the boards. He elected to leave the JBz and his post is not even close to what happened. While there is no question ex-JB73 is one helluva stick, I guess he was not happy with the plane set. He should have just left it at that. Sorry we had to air our dirty laundry.

Well, what sucks about JB# is that you go in and brawl with em and you bag the same 3 guys every time right?
SO then you go to talk smack on 200 and you say the wrong number and everyone is suddenly all up in ya. Thats a problem...
I mean, if I shoot down JB2003 every night for 4 days straight I'm gonna start to pick on him.. But if I forget his name and call him JB88 all of a sudden I'm full of it. (it starts with SH in this case)
So anyhow, yeah, make it JB-Bob so I know just exactly who it is who sucks and I know just exactly who I should run from, because these numbers just don't work for us normal kids.
73, sorry to hear about your departure. All the best in your future endeavours and I look forward to getting killed by your name, rather than your number.

Alf, after spending 3.5 hours friday night answering private text messages about what happened, i figured it would be easier to answer the questions here. short, sweet, to the point.
42, i never in my post said the JB's "broke up" read my wording carefully. i was very particular about the wording i chose. i also wanted to make sure it was clear since i am not on the JB board anymore, that anyone who is wondering, i never got the email and looking at the "to" list of 2 people's email i was never an inteneded recipent.
all and thank you for the kind comments, and the offers to fly with your squads. i may look you up in the future ; )
Ps. to JB's that stayed with the squad, sirs, i can not read if there are any replies to my post, so i do not know what you might have said. best of luck to all of you, and will see you in those virtual skies.

I remember when I came back earlier this year..and a bunch of JBs were in a furball. I said JB..six. Before I said it I didnt realize there where 3 other JBs in the area. This guy comes on..in a real pompous voice and says..give the number. He was right..but it kinda rubbed me the wrong way. So after that I held my tongue...and ' key too.

I think more concern should be put in to flying with you're friends and people you enjoy being with rather than what you're flying and where you're flying it.
You guys always seemed pretty tight. You shouldnt let the game get between you and your enjoyment of flying with one another.
