I don't know if anyone has posted this, but I felt that I should.  This is the single image that will stick with me forever.  I think it captures America in a very stirring image.  Nothing else really needs to be said.

I'm not American and mean no disrespect but the only thing I think about when I see that is IWO JIMA.

Kinda scary, but I hope we are not repeating our past!  That photo would make a great bronze statue at ground zero to honor the Firefighters, EMT's, Police and Shore Police(sorry can;t remember proper name for em)....

unfortunately the image I cannot get from my mind is that of innocent people jumping to their deaths rather than be burned alive.
