SOB! Guess what? I ordered my 1GB camera memory from that Digi4Me place you told me about. It was shipped out from California, and came today - in time for my forthcoming 2 weeks in Italy. It worked out much cheaper than it would have done at the retail outlets in our High Streets.
Thanks for the tip! :aok:):) If I meet you again, I will kiss you on both cheeks next time - hope you remember to shave! ;)

Heh, yah dumb question. I googled it right after posting and found it. Just ordered a 128MB card for $25 :)

SD card?
damn...that was expencive. I payed about the same for a 512 for my canon

Hmm...now that you mention it I am clueless. Was on the verge of paying for a memory stick. Luckily I cancelled the order. A SD card is for digital cameras correct?

My Canon A510 uses SD or MMC cards. Like with yours mine came with a 16mb MMC card but i bought an extra 512 SD card.

No prob Beet, good to hear it got there in time. No more kisses though, or I might fall in love.
Rightfoot, the link I gave Beet was: http://tinyurl.com/bxjuo. It's the ebay auction listing for Digi4me...I had no idea they had a web page. :)
According to Canon's web page, your camera uses SD Card memory. You can use MMC too, but I'd stick with SD. I got a hi-speed PQI SD card for my Canon SD200 and it works great!
