Ted Nugent Sounds off (http://www.rockymounttelegram.com/featr/content/shared/entertainment/stories/0711MOTORCITY_MADMAN.html)
On guns:
"You should be able to put the second bullet in the same hole as the first bullet. That's gun control."
On why he appreciates Michael Moore:
"He's quite a beast of burden, isn't he? Nothing makes me look better than Michael Moore. He stands for everything I don't believe in and I stand for everything he doesn't believe in."
-
I would vote for him, atleast he is not in some corp or special interest groups pocket.
-

Maybe he moved to Texas to get his resident status before the next election.
-
Glad he's still going to stay active in Michigan. I was worried we'd lost him to Texas when he moved down there.

he can not really run for office in Mich, if his permanant residence is Texas though.

The article says he maintains Michigan residency.

I saw him in concert where he shot an arrow through a cardboard cut-out of Saddam.
Yeah, I'd vote for him.
-
I would vote for him for pres or gov.

LOL, good old Ted...pretty unstable guy.
He does everything to the extreme, back in his old Amboy Dukes days if you popped 1 he popped 3, just to prove himself:)
I give him credit he has redirected his energy but I wouldnt trust him to run a state or a country.

I saw Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes in concert in the daytime in the 60's at a city park pavillion in Garden City, Michigan. What a show... they did "Journey to the center of your mind"
I also saw him on Politically Correct ... He had the host - Bill Maher? stuttering and going red faced and apaplectic. what a show that was, too. :D

"My love.....my love is like a tire iron!"
Yup..sounds good to me! The Motor City Madman! Why not?

caught that one as well, I was surprised to see him on PC. usually it's like lazs said.

Yeah he's pretty unstable. When he played a gig in texas recently he told all the "stinking mexicans" to go back to mexico. He also threw some insults at Ozzy, which I thought was ironic considering they're both brain damaged recovered rock stars who've both been black listed from the alamo city.

I always heard he was a non-drinker, non-smoker and anti-drugs.

He had Gloria Aldrich (spl) sputtering to the point of incoherence. Not bad considering she is a lawyer.
-
Nuge is not as he appears, yet exactly what he appears to be. I'd like to have a chance to see him come out of the Nuge persona for 5 minutes so I could have a conversation with him.
IMO, the Nuge is the best troller EVAR! :D

is this the guy that went feral to avoid the draft, became the legal guardian of a minor so he could legally continue to have sex with her, and all the while he was still married to another woman?
he has the qualities to go far, tiger spandex pants and all.
-
Same guy who's planted 10.000 pine trees in michigan, & runs a kids camp, & was 1st rock star in 70's with enough guts to stand against the drug culture, even though it was drug culture people who bought his records.
-
He's a whackjob, but an entertaining one.
I wouldn't vote for him.
-
I met him once. Coolest celeb I ever met. Asked for his autograph, & he said, I'll do better than that & took me to his car 7 pulled out bow& arrow posters, autographed em & chatted with me for 10 minutes.
Paul Stanley was much more aloof. Geezer Butler was polite, Bruce Dickinson was a load of laughs, But Ted was the coolest.

His drug was NOT pot, Coke, or Heroin. It was pu**y.
I believe him, I met him and I would give him the benefit of the doubt. He has ALWAYS been FIRST AND FOREMOST a Huntsman, second, the groper of many a women, and third, a rock n roller.

Yeah his only vice is underage girls. Good choice.

He is straightforward. If that's bein a whackjob, then he's a whackjob.
I.e. Ted Nugent on homosexuality; Well, if you wanna indulge in mucus coated peanut butter, go right ahead, just don't get any on me.
Ted on illegal aliens; If you cannot dial 911 & save someone's life, you do not belong here.
-

Very true. That girl he married first - wow - I'd be on her like a hobo on a balogna sandwich. Sweet girl - unfortunately she dumped him because he had to hit everything that moved.
-
I was playing an original Ted Nugent pinball machine by Stern yesterday. Must have been from 1979 or so.
Funny to see how basic the playfield was. Did not even have any music or talking even though it was electronic.
