not hiding, just have changed the name ; )

all and welcome to the "new" me! hehehhe




oh yeah.. taking suggestions on my new plane of specialiaty.. leaning towards either spit V or p51 D, though the f6f and f4u's are not out of the picture ; )

with the exception of you and a select few others, i dont like the attitude of the "38 jocks" and i don't want to fly it, just to spite them :p don't forget im still the vindictive jerk that i am, just a new name :D

I wouldnt start flying it if i was looking for a "new" plane to master. Its become the "thing to fly". That and the La7. There are more P38's in the sky now than ever. So sad.

If so, we'll have to get back into the DA sometime soon, those fights were a blast :)

S! And welcome to the full plane set!

Edit: Try the Corsairs...  If you came from those POJ FW's I think you'll really like the added benefits the Corsair's have (namely, useful flaps).

The Jug is an Allied 190 that has better guns and climbs slightly worse.

well i did use the name for a few months early in the year, and did DA with you and a few others ;)

gave the account to JB35 because he could no longer afford to fly, and he used it / changed the name. now he has his own account, and i am back with my beloved Mustaine ;)

There were hardly any 38s in AH1, there was probably a handful of us that only flew them.  Now since the new 38s came out, everyone is flying it.  However most of the people that try it, still dont know how to fly to its full potential.

why am i not seeing all these 38s around?  very rarely run into one...i do see them more often than AH1 but not nearly on the order of la7s i see.  not even close.

I like the F4u best.  Ki61 is a challenge, and 84 pretty nice but rarely think of it for some reason. The 38 I dont use much as it doesnt fit how I fly.

Mustaine, I've tried 'em all, but I keep coming back to th P51D. It just feels like......."victory".

SpitV or Hurri. Occasional 109A5 or BF109F4 for the throw back flight. P51B every now and then for some spice.

my advice, go into ta and fly every plane for at least 10 minutes. whatever you like most, try it out in the ma, then find a squad:aok

yes, i know that oh great wise leader, but as a wise man once say, he is looking for a new ride. i sense a great feeling of new birth within this young warriors heart :D

serious tho, do try everything, which includes the 'bad' rides aswell. a quick session in the ta should saot ya :aok

true somewhat, but still some think the P38 is God's gift to the world, yet i find killin them no harder than any other plane....

and when i fly one, i hit less than any other plane LMAO i swear i can't hit the ground with those guns LOL

Try being a 38 pilot and hitting something in a 109/190, its impossible, because you have to deal with convergence instead of the straight shooting nose package.  Plus, half the pings you see are from some dinky 7.7mm, so you have to land quite a few hits.

Fairly fast, nimble, 400 rounds of cannon that will drop 3 lancs if you fly it right.

Capable of winning 1 on 1 with almost any plane in the set.

And because your flying in a 5 NOT the 7, no one whines.

Yak9U, KI84, FM2, P47D-11, ah heck, thier all good.  I can get shot down in any of 'em.

Benn awhile since you shot me down, but now you'll be harder to find ;)  MOF been a while since run into any of those JB's either.  Used to be a almost daily occurrance to be killed over and over by you / them.

You all have it wrong...what 73 is trying to say is that he is coming out of the closet...he enjoys the Uberdweeb rides such as the la7 and spit9.  And since he "likes" dweeb rides he must be a dweeb. :D
