Hi all
I could sweat I have use a Moss with a Canadian skin ,,,may be in AH1...did i dream?
It was an Allied like skin but instead of the red dot was a red Maple leaf...
Do you know of any Canadian skins?

we already have one from 418 squadron RCAF

Canadian squadrons during the war were distinguished by having a red Mapleleaf somewhere on the nose of the aircraft.
As far as I know they used standard RAF roundels.
Should be a Canadian Mossie in the game I did, 418Sqn, look on the Stbd side lower nose you'll see the Mapleleaf.

I think I uploaded it to http://www.ah-skins.com
Look for 418 Sqn, Middle Wallop, "Hairless Joe"

Cool i have it...where do i put the folder?
-
I just put it in skin folder after unzipping it...is that allright?
How will it load?
-
Should go in C://Program Files/HTC/Aces High II/skins folder for default. (I think thats the directory). Rename the folder with that skin 2.
EX: If you had a 190d9, the 190 folder is called 190d9. For the second d190 skin you have, you would name that folder 190d92.
If you did it right, then when you go offline and select the Mossie, in the skins dropdown menu you should see 2. Select it and the skin should show up.

Cool..It worked...nice to learn how to do stuff like that.
Thank you.
Not sure about that marking on the mossie Kev.
Looks more like the "Air Canada" commercial Logo
if you want my opinion..no offence intended. I'm not sure about that but I think canadian markings only came after WWII.
I search online for pictures of Canadian WWII planes and could not find any with distinguised marking...but again I might be wrong I am definetely not an expert.

You can look around and find lots of pics of spits, mossies etc with a Mapleleaf on the side.

Much in the same way the Poles used a red/white checker pattern.

Czechs used a red/white/blue circle, divided 3-ways from the center to outside.
