I'm looking for a realistic chopper sim. Does anyone know one with stuff like; realistic torque effect, ground effect and any other effect I haven't heard about, accurate throttle-collective-pedal use and basically I just want the most realistic chopper sim u guys can think of. It doesn't need to have combat in it, but combat would be preferable.

The Enemy Engaged series, Apache-Havoc and Comanche-Hokum still seems to have a sizeable community and should be extremely cheap off the bargain bin.
Can't say much about how much realism you'll find there, tho I can recall something about ground effect from when I played A-H back when it came out.
You have a review here:

There are good helo sims these days? I haven't seen any that really interested me since LongBow2

chopper sims are rare, the one i like to play around (non combat) are
with FS2004. I grab the small Heli and fly around the newyork buildings
its really fun :) U have to play with pedals & throttle alot.

X-Plane flight simulator used to have some pretty good rotary aircraft. It has been awhile (2000?) since I used it, but it was better than MS at that time IMO. The MS flight simulator was pretty good, although you needed to have a good frame rate and rudder pedals when trying to hover. I think Apache Longbow (or Longbow2?) (which I have copy but never played much) was supposed to have realistic flight characteristics, but I found the game focus was on ordinance not flying.
Also, RealFlight G3 is a simulator for RC helicopters (it has many planes too) that includes realistic torque and ground effects. The cost is a bit steeper at $200, but that includes a Futaba controller. It's pretty cool and I've had a blast with it!

Apache-Havoc/Comanche-Hokum is really pretty good. Most of the FM is pretty realistic (IMO as a heli pilot) but I never thought autorotations were modeled too well... though not a huge issue in twin-engine helis.
AH-CH only supports one joystick, so make sure your setup can be seen as a single input.

LongBow 2 was one of the best sims ever made. I loved that one.

Yep.. used to have alot of fun with the multiplayer. Greatest part of the multiplayer was you could have 2 people in the same ship.. one as pilot and one as CP/G
