5 more wins, and he is the most successful
driver in history, with the most wins he will
beat prost to 2nd place (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
WTG Schumi!

That traction control sure was useful today.

Traction control is not allowed until April, Funked? (Or something like that)

Nigel Mansell - five wins in a row (1992).
1950's Italian Driver - nine in a row.
Schumacher has a fair amount to do yet.
-
Dowding,
I don't meant the Row-wins,
I mean the overall wins, all his F1 wins.
He is still 2nd behind Prost, 5 more
and he got it (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
And I'm quite sure he will succeed this year.
btw. yesterdays win was his 6 in a row, only
this italian 1950 holding 9.

6 in a row? We've only just started the season!
Roll-overs from previous seasons don't count; I think there are many drivers who would qualify otherwise.
Maybe he'll do it, but it all depends on luck as much as skill really.
-
hm interessting question, i heard it is no matter
if new saison or not, the wins in a row counting,
because even this way, 6 is the Schumi record.
I heard about this on german TV live coverage (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
But i will ask for more info reagrding this row-wins.
IMHO why should they not count ? Race is Race.

Conditions vary so much between seasons - cars change a great deal, as do track conditions, team staff.
The greater achievement is to do it in one season, IMO. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
He hasn't yet, despite what German TV thinks. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

hey Dowding i just done a search and found this:
Alberto Ascari done 9 wins in a Row, 1952 and 1953,
it was a Roll-over (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

lol, shows how much I know! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
I still think to do 5 wins in a single season, is more worthy than 6 or 9 in two. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I think that Schumacher is incredible because he went to Ferrari when all they could do was turn clutches into dust and blow engines, and brought them back into the forefront of F1 racing.
He has always impressed me with his fierce attack on the course, and the fact that he went with a company that needed his help not only as a driver, but as someone who would champion their cause.
He did both well, and now look where they are. Bravo Mike!
