Title: A lighter shade of pale?
Post by: Morgorth on July 19, 2005, 12:17:41 AM
I tried using 127, 127, 127 for the invisible layer in my squad insignia, but either it didn't work or my RGB settings in PSP are different to everyone elses.

Can someone tell me the Hex or RGB that does show as invisible please.

I believe you have to set a certain color to be picked up as "transparent," which will then become transparent when the image is saved. Don't trust me; I've never even seen an imaging program other than MSPaint and an HP pile-o-turds.

You need to save your image as 256 color (8 bmp) before you can find the color yo make it transparent. After you decrease color depth select the dropper tool and move it over the color you want to become transparent, it should give you an index number.

Then make a text file with the same name as the bmp file (only with a .txt in it) and put JUST that index number. Save the file. It should tell it to make that indexed number transparent.
