Tomorrow, this time, I proudly sign up for the United States Navy. The beginning of a career that will guide the rest of my life and defend my nation.

Will definatly take time out of my playing. :D

Ok. I wont. What do goals mean anyhow, or a bonus E-3 upon signing up due to working my arse off for past 5 years.

Tell them you require a decent internet connection where ever you end up being stationed. You will not have the trivial problems of the US Navy cut into your Aces High time!
Title: Go Coast Guard
Post by: Hornet33 on July 20, 2005, 02:02:58 PM
Join the Coast Guard instead. Better life than the Navy. We don't sail around and train for war, we do our jobs everyday. Law enforcement, search and rescue, homeland security, AIDS to navigation. I could give you a list of names a mile long of Coasties who used to be Navy and came over because we are better. Not navy bashing but you might want to look into it before you commit to 4 years of sleeping in a small room with 99 other guys on some destroyer, with 6 toilets 4 urinals, and 4 washer / dryers. Thats what I saw on a Spruance class destroyer when we pulled in next to them.

I served four years aboard a destroyer.  by the time I was 22 years old I had travelled to 1/2 of the world and had a blast doing so.  try to avoid carrier or sub duty those boys don't get much shore liberty.  S!! for serving our country.  Best of luck and enjoy your adventure.
