Title: I thought P47N had 6 guns

New patch gives it same gun options as the D-40, but I had read that the P47N, among other things, reduced the number of guns down to 6, to save weight.

I'm confused

No, the P-47N had the standard 8 gun installation. Pilots could opt to remove two guns.
