the p51 shows with a rainbow skin not a normal plane or has see through wings

Also some gauge needles flash in and out.  

TAS needle not visible in 51D at all.

I'm not getting those skin problems listed, but I still have the entries for all old P51 skins (selecting them does nothing, it seems), and they're filling up the drop box for skin selection. I think the P47 skins are still listed, as well.

Those of you have texture/skin problems, like the one Stream posted, try purging the p51 and p47 files from the cache folder of Aces High.  Also remove the .res files for the 51's and 47's from the skins folder.
And last, remove the "skins.res" file from the skins folder.

skuzz is, for the first time, wrong. the bug is due to nose art. the skin, is your squadron nose art, go to ta and go external and look. nothing to do with cache, its some sorta text error, so the planes are loading squad markings as skins

Im having the same problem too.

 I've tried everything I could think of.

 Purged the entire P51 skins directory, got rid of all cache files, tried reloading fresh cache files everytime... but to no avail.

Ahhh, poo, I have been wrong before.  Won't be the last either.  The nose art could be the problem.  If that is the case, then I am sure HT is already all over it.

Hey skuzzy, i withdrew from my squad an it corrected the problem . Waiting for my CO to login and reinvite , ill let ya know if it goes back or remains good .   38

Yeah, sure enough I tried a P-51 and it was black with white splotches.  :)  I like the see-through cowl and wings though, that was a cool addition.  Makes it MUCH easier to see whats underneath me if I can see through the wings.  :D

Hey guys, before they fix it, go to TA and upload a seethrough noseart. The whole plane besides the cockpit will be invisable... :aok

Skuzzy..My P51 has invisible wings from inside cockpit..It has it's advantages though..:)

This should be fixed asap.
