Pretty cool, gives me a pretty good idea of how it should perform and I see that it's turns are pretty tight in relation to the viewing point.

Thanks SWulfe, that was incredible.

Seconded! :)

That film clearly indicates that Hanna hacked the Spit's OS.
It turned to tight, the roll rate was too fast, the Hispano's had too much range and hit too hard, climb in the vertical was far above what it should really be, the pilot was able to move his head around too much, the landing gear struts are way to soft and the underwing radiators are 3/4" farther forward than they were on actual wartime aircraft. Oh, yah, the paint isn't the correct shade of green.
Did I miss anything? ;)
Nice flick, SW! Thx.

BTW SWulfe did you get it from my page or was it just an accident? :)
Talking about accidents, try out www.omfc.co.uk (http://www.omfc.co.uk) :)

Pulled it from a WB guy's page who translated a lot of stuff for the Polish(I think?) movie "Dark Blue World".
I just thought it was the neatest thing I'd ever seen, sorry if you didn't want me to cross post it.

Is that Spit still around? That film tributes the pilot, did he crash and burn? Details?
-
No, no problem with that, other than that you didn't read that page - it's got Czech and Czechoslovak all over it, nothing Polish :)
Mark Hanna was injured in a Bouchon (basically Me109 with Merlin engine) crash in Spain, and he died of his wounds later on. The Bouchons are reportedly VERY nasty aircraft (just ask Charlie Brown).

Here's a picture of the runway he crashed in. This is a final of RWY 31, the runway he had been cleared to land on, but he asked for RWY 13, so he may have noticed something wrong with the plane...
He crashed some 5 meters short of the numbers. :(
