A Chinese People's Liberation Army General has gone on record to threaten the US if it attempts to uphold the treat to help defend Taiwan against attack.

This sounds to me like they are already laying out their short term strategy for the acquisition of Taiwan and the ensuing battle plan.

All that means is we have to "first strike" them before defending Taiwan.  B-2s and ACMs would castrate their nuclear forces before they could fire a shot.
