that cat is not diddlying playing...i saw this site about 3 months ago.

saw the piercing and the "head binding" crap

this stuff sickens me beyond words...i would rather watch live video of an abortion or female circumcision, or slow motion motorcycle/bus accident

When I was in the military, I met all sorts of people.  Two individuals from the Midwest and South would always brag of their prowess in destroying cats.  Whether it was swinging a cat by his tail until it popped off, or the mythical burrying them with heads exposed and running over them with lawnmowers... it didn't matter.

The stories were not funny.  They were not clever.  Everything about them reminded me of the "he tortured small animals as a child" profiles of mass murderers.

Of course, most of it was just bragging... but the idea that it was cool or funny is what disgusted me most.  The idea that because these stories are told so often that eventually someone is going to try it was equally upsetting.

I doubt the pics are anything more than morphing... but that doesn't mean that people aren't going to try it "just for fun".

Bah... wasn't even going to respond to this thread.... so I'm done with this.

I worked for a veterinarian in Portland a little bit, and these cats are not exhibiting any signs of anxiousness.  If they were frightened, you would see eyes wide open, huge pupils, ears possibly laid back, fur ruffled, etc.  What they look like, despite their being in jars, is that they are playing or asleep.  It's a sick idea, but it ranks right up there with Weekly World News, or The Onion.  It's designed to be shockingly funny.

As a side note, there is a link between child and animal abuse. Those who have committed one crime, are liable to commit the other. Both disgust me.

This site, even if it a joke isn't exactly hilarious. Nothing to do with the cruelty thing, it's just not that funny.
