Title: Formation problem?

I was taking off in a formation of B-24's last night and just as I started to roll I went to an external view (I always do this to make sure I had formation selected).  Just as the formation started to roll, I see the drone in the back shoot straight up in the air and then "boom", he's gone.  
I never saw this prior to the patest patch being released.

Anyone else see something like this?

yes last night i was taking off in 17s i went to external mode and saw three planes so i went back to cockpit and as soon as i took off i looked again and one of the drones were missing. I looked at scroll to see if one of em got shot down during take off but nothing. it just disappeared
