Go, baby, GO!
-

That view from the external tank is great.
-
SHE's up!
-
It's all fake.
-
yes good luck Discovery !!
darn, all the links didnt worked for me, have to watch it later
on TV. I have to see one start live once in my life! :)
-
Awesome external fuel tank shots !:D
-
That was a great shot from the ET after MECO when they did the separation. Too bad they aren't holding onto the tank and bringing it to the ISS, a lot of potentially usable space inside, and it could be taken there well within the limitations of the OMS fuel supply.
Ah sigh...
-
CNN had it live for a while. She got off in good shape it appears. I definately understand the tank cam on the bird. It gives a great angle to spot booster burnthroughs and anything falling off of the tank onto the shuttle.
Godspeed to the shuttle and her crew.

no pics for me, i have to stick with the Text Version (http://www.spaceflightnow.com/shuttle/sts114/status.html) ;)

T+plus 3 minutes. Discovery's main engines continue to fire, guzzling a half-ton of propellant per second.

Text version:
It is pitch black in orbit. You are likely to be eaten by a space grue.

Good one.
-
AOL had it live...errrr...errr so I heard.
-
i wonder if there is any way to see coverage now that its over.. i was at work and missed the liftoff but would like to see the new cam shots and stuff
-
Drudge report story about "large debris" falling off during launch...
It makes me angry... maybe I shouldn't, but they have had a long time to work on this thing. There was stuff falling off of it while is was sitting still a week ago.
-
The only thing I saw fall off were boosters?
-
Insulation has suffered again... hope the shuttle gets back in one piece.
-
The one piece I saw ddin't hit the shuttle itself. News is saying nasa techs have hours of footage to look over and the shuttle will be inspected at the ISS.
IT'D BE AWSOME IF A SHUTTLE LANDED HERE BEFORE I LEAVE NEXT SRPING
Too bad it costs NASA about a million extra bucks to fly it home.
