We're putting together a glossary of terms used in the Aces High. This thread is to collect submissions to the glossary of various terms and their definitions. Please add them in a manner that makes it easy to cut and paste. For example:
con -
1. Shortened form of the term "icon".
2. To positively identify or come within icon range of another player. "I con P-51s at 12 o'clock."
3. Shortened form of "convention" referring to the Aces High Convention.
Don't be afraid to edit or expand an entry that was submitted. List the entire entry if you edit or expand a definition. Please keep the jokes to a minimum or better yet, start a different joke thread as this will be a lot to parse through. Thanks for your help.

During my years of playing, there's been a number of berevity codes i've come across. There's as many different ones as there are squads, but there are some codes which generally are used by all. I'm glad to see Pyro trying to get some standard for us to use in here, but I fear they may be a bit hard to beat into the masses. The beatings will continue until all comply :D
In any case, here's a set i've come across, compliments of the 56th - I can't recall where we stole this from. If you have more success beating it into your squad then I have with mine, let me know your secrete. Thank God for VOX.... when it works :p

technique. The formation to be assumed by the wingman is frl.
The wingman will always fly slightly behind the Flight Leader at the designated
position and range (r, ro, o, lo, l, lh, h, rh, -).

furball = multi-ship dogfight
It should read:
furball = dipstick's hero
-
Crims, the point was that my squad is lucky if we say 5 of those terms, hehe.
We're normally cussin each other out for not covering each other's back and getting the whole squad killed. Either that or we're talking bout big jugs :D

Runway Vulcher- A person who takes a fast plane such as an Lgay7 to altitude, by-passes 10+ intervening enemy planes to take as many swoop n' run passes up and down the runway for vulches as he can before his inevitable demise. Then rinses and repeats ad infinitum braggin about his l33t skillz on 200 all the while.
Roper - Someone who flies a plane to high altitude and attempts to seduce lower cons or those with less E into following him up until they stall whereupon he loops or rolls around for the easy kill. (see AKAK films for a good demonstration of this tactic)
Flakpansie - Someone who insists on upping from a CAP'd field in an Ostwind to kill vulchers instead of a fighter to be vulched. This is usually a derogatory comment used by the disgruntled vulcher wannabe's who get unceromoniously replaned by them.
Pork and Auger - Either by accident or design this is an attempt to 'pork' that results in the 'porker' crashing into the ground in the process. This is usually done by those who have no wish to fight and would rather just suicide than try so they can quickly re-up to pork again while denying his defending enemy a non-proxy kill on him.

Hammer already has a thourough list of common terms. I could only come up with a dozen or so to email when he got back and was able to update the site.
Only new one I picked up lately was:

Pilot1: 190 diving on you
Pilot2: Im tumbleweed. (I dont see it?)
Pilot2: Tally 190 (now I see it)
I had always thought RTB was strictly netspeak, until I seen the press conference when the crew that had to emergency land in China returned. I heard that Lt Osborne say "and his wingman rtb'd...excuse me, returned to base"
