You know anything about this -
P-47-D30 - 78th FG/84th FS, Duxford, 1944, Lt. Frank Oiler.
Caught my eye because its RAF Dark Green uppers Sky lowers.
Hoping you have something somewhere. Thanks.
Or I'm fairly sure there were some RAF Jugs?
Ignore most of pic just a test.

Think that's another of those OTU Jugs from Egypt so it wasn't a combat bird..
The RAF only operated the Jug in the CBI so it's the smaller roundels to go with either the gray green camo or green brown..
Do you want profiles of 30 Squadron birds from the CBI for example?

Greebo has already covered the SEAC Jugs.
Wonder if they'd take an OTU bird?

doesnt OTU mean operitional training unit?
wouldnt that be classed as a combat unit seeing it was in operation as a unit,it was in being in the war so why not?

OTU's were the last stop before going to an operational combat unit.
It was where the pilots transitioned to their combat ride, but they weren't combat units and more often then not had war weary or earlier model aircraft of the one they'd be flying later on Ops.
As an example a Spitfire OTU would have Spit Is or IIs while the combat units were operating Vs or IXs
In that regard I wouldn't think an OTU skin would work. If you do that, then do stateside OTU USAAF birds count? That opens up a whole other can of worms in terms of what skins can 'fly' so to speak
Just my opinion of course :)

Big difference - It was an 'In theatre' OCU.
