The last time a few friends and I attempted a LAN party it all ended up with 5 guys who cant get a network running getting drunk and inviting people over, turning it into a REAL party.
Stolen parts big time! funny thing is all our computers were missing something but had new parts after we left.

The stench of vomit on my keyboard was unbearable the days after.
Still is.
