Title: Phantom dots

How is it possible to see phantom dots all over the place (on radar and on horizon) and yet the net status reveals no problem. I'm not talking about 1 or 2 phantom dots - but a lot - I wasted 15 minutes chasing phantom dots and nets status shows normal. How is that possible?
