Title: Message board changes

Some settings have changed in the message board.  Private messages are enabled once again.  You can turn this off in the User CP if you don't want to receive any.  

Logged in users are now displayed at the bottom of the main forum list.  There is an option in the user cp let you remain invisible.

Flossy,

You did enable PM in your profile?

I accessed my PM and tried to send you one to see if it works. All went well on the writing end but I got a message saying you had not enabled PM and the message could not be sent to you.

Just something to check again, I guess.

I wish they had a time lock on the board. It would be nice to set my profile so I couldn't post between the hours of 9pm and 6 am :D

Yep, just checked.... maybe if I relog, as I was already loggedin when PMs were enabled I think.  :)

Tis weird Flossy.

I can click on the PM button below everyone's post in this thread and it pops up a PM form to type and send one.

Well, everyone except YOU!  It says you've elected not to receive PM's.

Pyro.. FYI i have "pop up when i recieve a message" set to on...

sent myself a PM from my old handle JB73 to see how it works, and got no pop up.

also, unless you click on "user cp" you can't get to the messages. is it possible to have a quick link to PM's at the bottom of the page or something?

It certainly is weird.... I have just checked my settings again, and I definitely have PMs enabled - but any attempt to access Private Messaging results in the same 'not authorised' message.   :rolleyes:   Time to call Skuzzy, I think.

Actually Flossy, I found the problem.  You should be able to use the PM feature now.

This may have been discussed already somewhere else, but I really wonder where this green jungle or ground war theme came from? Look at the buttons at top, they could spell US ARMY... but not likely USAF. Would'n one expect something bluish/greyish, something relating to the sky and flying from a flight sim forum? :confused:

The green theme and layout and text and background colors and all look nice as a whole, but not for a flight sim.... just IMHO.
