After starting the game TrackIR will work until you turn it off. If you try to reenable TrackIR AH never pickes it up again.
In the previous release you could enable/dissable TrackIR as often as you like. In this release once you turn it off once or twice it stops working all together.
I have verified this bug with Edbert who also has a TrackIR.

Ya know - I've had this happen also a few times, but then again, I've been able to disengage it using f12, and also re-engage it. I wonder if it "times" out after being off for awhile.
one thing about track IR that would be nice, bTW would be the ability to have the left right axis reversed when in a dead 6 view.
would a request like that go to the track IR folks or is that something that could be done here?

There is a check box in the video settings about TrackIR. I can't remember to check it or not but in any case this does what your talking about. If I hold down my six view I can lean one way or the other and I get the correct orrientation.

yeah, I remember that, but as I recal - it just reversed the axis...no matter what direction you were looking. Will have to check it again a little more in depth.

found it in ah view settings - lol had the object relative box checked....doh!

I dont turn it off anymore to shoot. I stick with 100% on.. seems to be coming along fine.

Skuzzy-
Are you picking this up and adding it to the bug list to be fixed?

Yesterday was the first day I've done any flying since the latest round of updates.
Started off with several hours of the usual suspects, P51-D, LA7, C205 and no TrackIR problems. When I jumped in a P47N, TrackIR stoped working until I exited the game and restarted it.
Maybe it is something to do with newer plane models?

Mine works fine in all of the planes I've flown... P47N included. I don't turn mine off at all.... not even to shoot. I can't hit anything anyway so it doesn't matter.
