Title: AH not utilizing Joystick

I had to reformat so after all the troubles of getting AH to actually run I get into an area where I get the game started, my joy quickly turns into anger as I find out my mic nor my joystick work.  The mic might be flat out dead, i'm not sure, earphones still work though.  Microsoft won't even make movement when testing them so i'm guessing that's kaput.

My joystick is being seen by AH but isn't being utilized.  In other words I can't do jack with it.  The axis' show no movement at all when I move the joystick.  Windows says its OK, however, I can't calibrate it in Windows.  Can anyone help?

Setup>Controls>Joystick>Select Joystick

Select your joystick in the middle list, hit "Set All Inputs" and "Set All Buttons" a couple times. Calibrate the joystick in game and test.
