Lately, I've been losing my joy stick in the middle of the game. Its like all of a sudden its unplugged.
Its a ch flight stick pro, and I tried removing the ch control manager. This worked a little better, but I would still lose it and get the windows xp notice, "USB device not recognized." If I unplugged the stick, then replugged it, I'd have my stick again.
With the control manager installed, if I lose the stick I have to reboot. Its almost as if the drivers are becomming corrupted during game play.
How do I trouble shoot this?

I never did install the CH program manager just set up in windows and then set buttons up in AH have had no problems from any of the CH components. I'm running XP pro sp2 with all usb CH hotas setup.
Most of the people that I have talked to in AH that run CH products recomend not installing the program manager.

try a powered hub.

Hi Straffo,
I read your post in the CH Hanger, and have just got home from Best Buy with a powered hub :)
Hopefully it works. It has gotten rid of the micro spikes.
Thanks!
So I guess I owe you a beer:D

Well for the beer it would be better to give it to Bob Church :)
He helped so many people he is at risk with alcohol :D

That guy's name ring's a bell (from a *long * time ago) and I don't know if it has to do with CH or not. I'm thinking Compuserve years and programming.
I think the powered hub is going to work - no problems so far.
