Newsflash: To all the yahoos that think 'good' AW'rs have a 'tough' time in AH..

On a lone patrol just offshore..I spied a low dot out over the ocean, away from the flak of the small task force, I waited for it to close, aiming to meet it just outside of flak range.

After a great cat and mouse hunt through the clouds (!) ..I kept the alt advantage I began with throughout, converting it to 'E' to maneuver when a shot presented itself.

20 rounds sent the enemy Spit to the ocean below, smoking, wingless, and burning when he hung himself like a cross in front of my high 'G' crossing shot from 200 yards out.

There is *nothing* like killing a spitfire, still :)

Umm . . ya .. my 9th flight in AH .. 3rd 'day' flying there.

I remember my first kill I think I actually got up from behind the desk danced around a little, did a victory lap out to the kitchen and back and snagged a guinness and had meself a pint when I got back to the computer.   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

On my first ever visit to WB historic arena I scored a 5 kill streak with hurri IIc (got a medal  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif))

On my first visit to Aces High main I got shot down like a dog..

Yes, there seems to be a difference.

First time I have 'flown' any air combat sim in 2 years. (been playing EQ .. LOL)

1st day in AH started with a 3 kill/landed sortie with a FW190 A5.
