Salute all,

Lord Guppy has helped me get a 47n to skin.  Same group as the default the gents put together so well.  However, if nobody has spoken for her, I will skin'her and submit'her to HTC.  If they deny it for being too similar that will be fine.  It will be great practice if so.

Salute Chimp,

Im working on the shadowing right now.  Gives false impression of depth in places I don't want it.  I just want to nail my technique before I continue to the fusalage.

Havent used one plugin of eye candy.  All done from an action I wrote.  What'cha talking about "specifically" ?

the rivit pattern is all wrong..try find an actual pic of a p47 wing from above..

Rgr sir, will do.  I used the patterns from diagrams I had.  But of course those could be wrong (I got em from a Russian site).  Anyway, I will look for a wingover view.  

Anyone knows a site just let me know.  All help appreciated.

Well most skins done in the game don't have correct rivets/panel lines. Some do tho.
Tell me that site anyways :)

this is the old ah skin before the update.. when wings and body were on 2 seperate 1024x 1024 templates..

I see what you mean by the rivet layout selector.  I ordered me a squadron/signal book on the 47 to see if I could get more details.  We'll see how that works out :)

Im in Charleston, WV.  Actually, Im in St Albans outside of Charleston.  However, my business keeps me traveling all over between Huntington, Charleston and Parkersburg.

Let me know if we are halfway local.  Theres another guy that lives in Charleston named REDMIZT that flies for the Rooks :)  I see a Hooters call :))

Thats cool, I live in Salem (Outside of Clarksburg). West Virginians are pretty rare in this game, that makes 4 of us, Verm a long time player is from Hurricane.
