Yes, I plan on redoing the P-51B skin but want to get a couple of Ds done first.

the aluminum looks very authentic.

did you have to redraw it to convert it over to the new skin?

fantastic,,looks good..but one thing the yellow stripe looks a little too yellow to me..just my thoughts

Had to start completely from scratch.  I did try and just convert the old skins but the pixel densities of the new skin wouldn't support it – at least not to my satisfaction.

Selector,
You are right about the yellow stripe.  The first time I didn't have enough yellow and bumped up the saturation.  Now it is too far the other way.

Looks good MachNix.

I have a question though. I had planned doing a 332nd P-51 as well (I know I'm slow), called the Duchess Arlene. It's posted in the skins under construction thread if you want to know what it looks like. Should I just scrap that one with this 332nd available? What do you all think? Too redundant?

It is up to you if you want to do another 332nd bird.  We did have two red tails at one time (and two checker tails also if I remember correctly).  It looked to me that HTC tried to use skins from as many different skinners as possible.  I plan on redoing several of my old skins and HTC could elect to use one of those skins instead.  This would open up the opportunity for another skinner, like you, to fill the 332nd slot.

Ok MachNix =) I just didn't want to stop on anyone's toes or anything, you know? I know we all put lots of work in these things, so I try to be kinda respectful if I can. =)
