well just logged off tonight, started bad....got quite fun...ended on little generalz note.
so here we are, base capped...vh down, but about 6 flaks and an m16 up. so all of a sudden these generalz come on range saying "everyone who is cool is rtb to get bombs for flaks" etc. etc. etc.
meanwhile i'm looking around and the people who are saying this are just floating around not doing anything to help their cause except telling others to go get bombs.
so..me.. i could care less, but im tired of having nothing to shoot i go and blast all off the flaks turrets out....while the little generalz are either flying safely out of harms way, or are rtb, to get more bombs (for the flaks, which i already disabled while they were telling everyone how great it is to get more bombs)
i'm not saying that i am a great player or anything i just find it funny how people who care so much about taking a base will do so little to help. I mean these guys are doing nothing, and their advice is to go get more bombs, don't bother straffing those easily killable turrets.
if strat and land grabbing is your thing...that is absolutely fine by me. if you're going to do it, at least put a little effort into it sheesh.
btw, if you were wondering how it turned out. well, all gv's were disabled, a few buildings were left up at town. when i left there were 2 goons there. when i landed (at the base i took of from) base still not captured. in hindsight if all those "land grabbing geniouses" had stuck around, instead of RTBing to get more bombs, they could have straffed town and had their base.
but hey, if i'm not cool cause i don't carry bombs.......fine by me.

This is a slightly different brand than your standard land grab type. This sounds more like a squad, perhaps having a squad night, trying to play historically. Could be wrong but thats what it sounds like to me.
I wish more people played this way.

We try on Mondays (squad night).
Maybe a Buff run with escorts (B24/P51).
Cap busting missions.
You know how it goes.

The funny ones are the guys who try to order people to deack the field but wont do it themselves. Then they get mad when they go to vulch and get shot.

If I had a dollar for each time I've seen/heard some intardnet napoleon giving superfluous orders regarding ordnance while maintaining a safe distance in a spit or la7 (with no ord), I'd have enough money to make us all rich.

Hehe! The funniest I have ever witnessed , and have posted about before much to the dislike of the L`il General, is the squad leader that was coming in yelling, kicking and screaming for his squaddies to take down the ack while he circled around in saftey doing the God 6 mode. After everything was nice and safe he would come swooping in with pink scarf trailing in the breeze and yell "He`s mine", "I`ve got him" every time a plane would appear on the runway. If any of the squaddies came in for a vulch a cussing tirade would start on vox .
It was some hilarious stuff to watch and listen to. What made it more hilarious was the fact that the squaddies actualy took the cussing and name calling and apoligized any time any perceived discretion was noted by this screech owl.

LOL I did have, but forgot to save them when I had to reinstall the game recently.
I hardly ever film anything anymore, but I caught a few of this comedy act because it was just too hilarious. Hate I lost them.
