I am running Aces High behind Zone Alarm, with no problems to my knowledge. However, whenever I start up Aces High, a message about my firewall flashes by much too quickly to read, or even to freeze the screen, so I have no idea what it says. How can I read it?
Also, some players recommend turning off the firewall when playing Aces High in order to get better framerates. Is this a wise procedure?

Yes. You can leave it on if you want, but you are sucking up resources better used on running the game (IMO).
As for the message, thats ZoneAlarm telling you a program has accessed the internet. Since you must already have AH set to "allowed", it doesnt bother to keep the notification on the screen, it just flashes by.

No I dont think its Zone alarm its a message from the game itself as its loading.
I see the same thing too and I dont run Zone alarm.
It pops up for all of about a half second like a clipboard message then the screen changes

Thanks Star: that is useful info.
Drediock sees the same message that I do. It is from Aces High, not Zone Alarm.

I think the message is there for anyone, i see it to but it flashes by pretty quick. Dont worry about it.

I get the same message and it basically says that if you have a firewall program running you may need to have the program permissions set to allow AH to access the internet so you can play.
