Title: router simulator?

my wife is in cisco networking school and needs a router simulator, she says they are very expensive, like 250 bucks i know nothing about these anyone in cisco networking have any good advise on the best one for the money ? hopfully alot less than that but whatever the realistic cost is.

It really costs about that. Probably you can find a copy on the net "free" but not last version. Its only use is to prepare for tests.
