Title: What Am I Missing?

I've tried all my video settings but my horizon still looks like crap. I thought originally that this is just the way the graphics for AH are, after all it's about combat not pretty pictures. But I see in the screenshot forum nobody'e horizon looks like mine.
Here's mine and then below it is a cropped version of one of Mustaine's posts from the screenshot forum. (hope he doesn't mind) What am I missing here in the setup of AH??
PS: I have horizon, transition and texture mapping turned on.

Make sure you have it set to full visual range.  I think its either Shift F1 or Shift F4

Yep.  That screenshot looks like you are using ground vis mode.  Hit Shift + F1 and see if it helps.  The game stays in whatever the last mode you chose was.  It doesnt reset to any default level when you start it back up the next time.

Ahh.. thanx guys, that was the problem. I didn't even realize there was the vis options, RTFM would help :D
