You have to make your textures so taht they match to opposite sides of the same texture ;) ... same thing like when making a small texture to cover the whole web page background.

You seem to have some text at the bottom of the pic???

Nuttz made a thread years ago about how to make seamless tiles, unfortunately all the pics ae missing so you'll have to put up with me.

Take your tile, select the left half of it and cut/paste into a new 512x512 image but place it on the RIGHT.  Then grab the bit thats left and put it on the LEFT.

You can then see the join running down the middle right?  Well fire up photoshop and clean it up so that the join dissapears.

Follow the same procedure but split it top/bottom rather than left/right and you should have a perfect seamless tile.

It is much easier to explain with pictures so if this isn't clear please ask.

Also, in PhotoShop (and probably every other bitmap editor) there is a filter/function called Offset.

Set the Offset to 256 horizontal by 256 vertical, with "Edge wrap" on. The sides of the tile are now in the middle of the file. Clean up the seams, and re-Offset the file back to normal.
