Killer got some of his dates wrong.  WB was already on it's way to version 2.xx when iMagic published the box version of AW3.   IIRC, iMagic published the box version in late '97.  I remember one of the marketing weasels, C-Hawk, giving me a couple of copies for Christmas that year.

That really is a great read. I especially liked Jay Littman's early commentary. He's spot on, and really helps paint a clear picture of how truly revolutionary some of these people have been, not just in MMFlight Sims, but in MM gaming as a whole.
