I'm just interested in knowing how weird I am (but only with regards to this question....so STFU about all the other stuff).
How many of you folks are bothered by Screen flicker....especially on white backgrounds... when running a refresh rate of say 72 Hz or less? I see it bigtime... really bothers me... others don't seem to see it at all. I REALLY see it apparently.

I only see it at 60hz, anything above that and I dont see it.
-
I can notice it. My eyes hurt (physically hurt) after using 60hz for a while. I sort of notice it at higher rates (let's say I'm aware) but I can ignore it as there's no physical, shooting pain in my eyes.

Anything under 70 mhz, I can see. And a white background makes it even more noticiable(sp).
Whenever I do website work with a white background I use a dark background, and change it to client specs . For some reason computer generated white annoys me, it also hurts my eyes even after a short period.
To avoid white websites at home, I use windows blinds and the gta-3 scheme.

I can see it at 72 Hz on a white background. 75 Hz and up I seem to be OK.
