Is there no BOB this year??

No, sorry. But we are in planning stages for our next scenario. Which we have set for the last two weekends in September and the first weekend in October.
A formal announcement will come soon.

Nice? It should be obligatory :(

Great!! Thanks for the reply!
:aok

BoB every year? With only 4 scenarios a year, that only leaves 3 for other battles.... it would get boring pretty fast, I think. Variety is the spice of life - other scenarios can be just as much fun. :)

I hear what you're saying, Flossy -- but I'd vote for annual BoB. With a year between episodes, it wouldnt get boring "fast"; the work would be proportionately less since development wouldnt need to be redone (could it mean 5 events per year???); alternate history options could be introduced for flair; and, selfishly, I nothing's given me nearly as much fun in my 18 month AH life as the neck-and-neck BoB we ahd last year.
In any case, a solid thumbs up to the team! :aok

Actually if a great Battle of Britain and Pearl Harbor setup could be run once a year, and 2 variety scenarios runs it would be ok with me. Having two stable, well planned events such as BoB and Pearl would make it easy on the planning, and they are great scenarios.
I would like to see a Longbow style event done sometime as well. Like 8 weeks of bomber missions 8th AF style.

Forget the 8thaf lets do one with the 15th af more action and better terrain down to the south. Forced high alt fights with very little agl would be tremendous fun to see.
