Can someone help me please?
When i start my computer, windows starts up as normal, and then rather than show windows (xp) it just shows a white screen with the mouse cursor. Windows is actually running but doesnt display.
I have been messing around with the resolution trying to find the best one and suspect it may be something to do with that.
When i start up in safe mode it works fine, but it will not let me change the resolution for nomal start up.
Any ideas how to fix it?
Thanks!

Boot up in safe mode, uninstall your video card driver from the device manager, then reboot normally and reinstall the driver.

Press F8 while booting, and start windows in safe mode. Make changes and then reboot.

Could be a shot video card. My 6800 just went out. Worked fine in safe mode but when ever I adjusted settings and restarted, all hell would break loose. My advice is if you have another video card put it in and see if it works fine. If so, its your card/drivers. If not then its the system.
Went and got a 6800 GT Overclocked...gonna be working that off for awhile. lol
