Again, I apologize for not being able to directly display the picture.  Someday I'll sign up with a real hosting service.

certainly looks like one.. is it a derivative of it?  Douglas P-70?

Sigh.  Too easy.  I should know better than to use a derivative of a plane we actually have in the game.

Your other one "Mystery Plane 1" is a Bell Airacuda. Each pusher engine had a gunner's position in front of it. I believe Rareplanes or somebody had a 72nd vacform model kit of it once (long discontinued). I'd have loved to have built that kit.

Krusty, I believe the hobby shop here has one (this guy has more airplane models than I've ever seen before, some of them are positively ancient).  I'll check next time I go into town.

heh, cool. There might be some injection-molded ones (I've not browsed around much) but I do recall reading about a vac-formed one in a book. The book was old and it said that the kit was discontinued, so it was already gone when the book came out.

Don't go to any trouble for me, but if you're going there for your own needs take a look around and note the scale/manufacturer and shoot me a PM or reply here. It's one of those "odd duck" aircraft that just really round out a collection, no?

Ok, that was too easy.  This one may or may not be, depending on how well you know your planes.

I know the plane but I'll hold off, as I've seen it before and perhaps others haven't.
