Post by: tapakeg on August 14, 2005, 06:48:19 PM
Imagine what would have happened if this stuff would have made it to America.

and some are saying we should be nicer to our prosoners of war, treating them like they were in a resort.

"About 1,500 gallons of various chemicals were found in what the military called an insurgent chemical production facility in Mosul, 225 miles northwest of Baghdad"

and

"U.S. troops, acting on a tip from detainees under interrogation,"

Eh the stuff is already inside your borders, you can find ready explosives in any construction site or simply by shopping for them.

Now how would that stuff be so horrible if it made its way inside your country? Normal dynamite or anite is much easyer to obtain in peacetime conditions and will be more reliable in use too.

Secondly, it was most likely never intended to leave iraqi soil, it was a ied producing facility targeted against your troops down there.

Glad that the place is shut down, but this really isn't that big a deal. Gotta remember our own domestic terrorists (McVeigh) buit their bombs using common chemicals as well.
