I was released home from the hospital.  Am exhausted just from getting my new friends(pain pills)  Will fill ya in on the result and next step after I rest up abit :)

Thanks again for the prayers and good thoughts they are trully appreciated.

Guys, it isn't a money thing that keeps me from the game.  I appreciate the kind jester of your generosity.  My eyes are messed up because of the diatetes problem and will be obtaining new glasses within the month.  I also just don't feel that well at the moment.  Now that the major surgery is over I hope to be back in the MA the first part of next year.

On a high note the Doc has taken me off insulin as the diabetes has stablized :)  All I do now is monitor the sugar levels and if it gets above 200 we will reexamine the diabetes situation.

The major surgery didn't produce the result I had expected.  It did allow them to bypass the organs that have the cancer.  I now have two exits from the stomach to the intestine.  The Doc says this will buy time as one will be closed off completely by the cancer.

The next step in this dogfight can't be taken until a total healing is obtained.  So chemo and radiation won't start till the end of January.

Glad you're home 1776. Praying you heal fast and get strong for the treatments. Sounds like you have a positive attitude, I hear that is half the fight.

Hang in there.  Surgery takes a while to recover from by itself, not to mention with chemotherapy thrown in to screw things up  ;)

Oz,

Hang in there bud. Radiation and chemo are a bit of a bother but you WILL need some distraction from it. Stay in the game and use it for an emotional release. Get EVERY chance you can to get "away" from the cancer and live a bit. Don't let it drag you down until it is the "only" thing in your life.

Keeping positive and focussing on one thing at a time helps imensely.

Thoughts and prayers are still on and the squad is behind ya bro, even if it's not your squad.  :)
