Ok. Obviously planes are too easy (at least American ones, even the oddballs). Here's one sent in by request for yall to chew on while I toss out my collection and make up a new list.

Stop googling! You either know it or you don't. Don't go searching for plane codes if you don't have the slightest clue. Cheaters!

LOL
All's fair in love, war, and internet trivia. :) Thats why I dont just link directly to the pics on the internet, the URL will give it away (and dont tell me you dont look if you cant tell what it is lol).
Anyway, I'm in the process of restocking my pile I was digging from. Here's one that hopefully will be harder. At least I made sure there were no visible markings this time. :)

Ahhh, I know it well! I've even seen that picture before. Tupelov TB-3 (being used as a paratroop dropper). I personally like the version with I-16s under the wings.

LOL apparently I know a lot of obscure aircraft (I build scale model kits!! It's a hobby!!) so maybe I'll not participate and kill SA2's hopes so fast next time :)
-
Hrm. A challenge then, to find an aircraft so obscure no one can figure it out. Well then. This will be more difficult than I thought.
-
I doubt this one quite fits the bill, but maybe it will give someone enough pause whilst I try to find something harder. :)

BF 108 Taifun?

Hey, a messerschmitt looks like a messerschmitt looks like a messerschmitt :P
Find a less prolific manufacturer, maybe?

I think Nord built them in France post-war.

Star, check your PMs.
Some links to some subjects that might stump most but the 'experts'.

This crown is impossible to stump with second world war combat aircraft. I tried my best a few years ago, used the best obscurities i could think of, looked through the whole of teh M.A.D. (http://www.csd.uwo.ca/~pettypi/elevon/gustin_military/db/) for others i hadn't heard of, nothing went as long as a few hours without a correct ID...Fokker floatplanes in RAF markings, low production early VVS, Eastern European planes from minor airforces & not just fighters, but anything with a prop that got into actual production. There are a few i never got around to that are still on my HD. F-84h stumped everyone about 5 years ago...I know an RV-6 in Luftwaffe markings that could generate some laughs maybe
