Title: A neat, new gadget for our Non-American car owners
Post by: Ripsnort on August 15, 2005, 12:23:23 PM
Considering the odds of anyone outside the US of being in a position to own a real hot rod...they now offer this:

http://www.vroombox.com/ :rofl

Instead of paying $500-$700 to improve the exhaust sound with an aftermarket Cat Back why not pay $200 and make your RX-8 sound like a 71’ Hemi Cuda?”
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

There just aren't as many available as there are here. And those that are may be twice the price as one that sells over here.

What GTO is referring to is this: Any man that doesn't get sexual stimulus or begin a Tim Allen grunt by viewing these pictures of a '71 Cuda (http://www.cuda1.com/71_hemi_cuda.htm) has some serious sexual issues that need resolution and closure.

Old cars like a cuda dont give me a woody, but if you even half consider yourself kinda a man, or car guy, and don't know what a 71 cuda is, well you should just give your nuts back to your wife.

Ermmm, outside the US we tend to have access to a broader range of vehicles, not being sheltered with all those import restrictions rip ;)

For example can you buy these in the US?

I knew someone would bring up  import restrictions :p.  However, I've yet to see a device that makes our muscle cars sound like a rice rockets.

I like red meat, and most of all cars that go round corners without handling like jelly which rules out pretty much anything made in the USA;)

Of course a corner is much more exiting on two wheels!:D

Exciting too. But I have to agree, I love the twisties driving better than the straight 1/4 mile.  Did I mention I broke in my Goodyear F1's after patiently waiting to put 1000 miles on them first? :D The near-90 degree heat help get them nice and sticky too. :p
