Is anyone willing to skin either one of these P-51D skins from the 479th FG?

Ack-Ack,
Kind of a plain Jane. Did you want it with the girl as flown by Lt. Donnell Jr. or without the girl as flown by Lt. Holster? (Lt. Donnell was KIA in this aircraft February 1945.)

I'd never thought I'd say this to another man but I love you MachNix! That skin is beautiful! I think with the girl as Lt. Donell Jr. flew it would look best but either way, it's a beauty and those of in the 479th give you a hearty
.

Ack-Ack,
Did some "tuning" of the skin and updated the picture of the earlier post. The point of my skins is to honor those that served, so a big salute right back to the 479th. Do you have any connection with this unit?
-
Machnix thanks for skinning a Pony in 479th colors... looks really cool, I think the one with the girl on it flown by Donnel would be the coolest but like Ack Ack said whichever you want, I think they would bothe be awesome

The one with the Varga girl as flown by Lt. Donnell was submitted.

The only "connection" to this Fighter Group I have is having the honor of being a member of the virtual version of the 479th. Part of our mission so to speak has been to keep the history of the real 479th Fighter Group alive.
Again, a hearty thanks and a goes out to you for doing this. We Raiders really do appreciate you taking the time to do this.
