Had 3 X36 and they all sucked.
Now they weren't USB so those may be different.

Have a set. Hate um.
Just wishing my pots would get here...

I have been considering a new setup, but I want to make sure whatever I get is compatible with rudder pedals. Is this compatible with any rudder pedals that are out there now?
-
I've got mine for $100, love it. I saw that bestbuy.com had them on sale for $59.95. I now have a spare still in the box. These are brand new for $64.00 including shipping, you can't beat it. This combo with USB CH Pro Peds I do believe are used by more HOTAS ppl than any other combo in AH.

So I take this to mean that the CH pedals are compatible then, right? If that is the case, then I know what I want for Christmas right now (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

X36 is supposed to be the mutt's nuts. Good price too, and is supposed to be a huge improvement on the non-USB version.

Many of your questions can be answered at www.saitekhelp.com (http://www.saitekhelp.com)
This is a great site for X36 analog and USB owners.

StSanta, open the stick and take the pots out. Take the caps off the pots and soak a small piece of paper with denatured alcohol. Run the paper between the wiper and the carbon. This will clean the pots in your analog X36. Ya may have to do it a couple of times, but this will stop the spiking!! I just left the caps off and reinstalled the pots. Then when it started spiking it was easy to clean (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) This really works!!
My analog stick is now used as a parts depot for any needs my USB might have (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

sling, you'll be able to use pedals in those games that support multiple joystick input. Aces High does but most don't-
Cleaned my pots for my ch fighterstick again - will try them out. Still spikey in the downwards and right position but mebbe they'll hold til mrniel sends me his busted ch flightstick so i can cannibalize it for pot(s).
Thanks again mrniel!
