My screen does this now and then, my fear, it's gonna blow up on me......
Whats it doing, and how can I stop it?
Push on the plastic or the screen it's self seems to help...
I just don't want it to blow..

The vertical deflection circuit tend to use a push /pull op amp and you have lost one side of it. It will eventually fail completely and you will have a straight line across the middle of the screen. Go get a new monitor, too expensive to repair.

thanks,
yea we allready have a straight sun light bright line across the middle of the screen when it happens..
UGH..
I don't wanna go back to an 11" monitor
lol there it went, did it again....

My hand fills up this entire screen, and my brother and I just agreed, how did we use to live and play video games on this?!!

Yup, time for a replacement. My last CRT did the exact same thing before it finally gave up the ghost and croaked. It got replaced by a no-name 17" CRT, and last week that was replaced by a Samsung 915N 19" LCD. No comparison; the 915N is better ($339 @ newegg)
