lol interesting takoff on the wrist rocket slingshot.

Problem is as anyone who has a retreiver type dog will tell you is it doesnt take into account the fact you still have to pick up and handle that slimey arsed ball.

Best product for doing this that Ive seen and use is the Chuck It (http://www.caninehardware.com/products_chuckits.html) (http://images.rei.com/media/644295_350Prd.JPG)

If you own any kind of dog that likes to play fetch with a ball.
Thats the best product.

Thogh the best idea I've seen so far was on "Animal Planets Amazing animals" where someone picked up a pitching machine and trained the dog to drop the ball in the machine himself.

Might not be a good idea for me though as my dog would probably play with it nonstop untill he died from a heart attack or the machine wore out and broke down.
Whichever came first

Wrist rockets are great toys though. I have one.
Bet I can put a ballbearing in your skull at 50 yards:D

though typically I like to used the little ballbearing sized crab apples the tree in my front yard produces.

they sting but dont do any damage

Squirrels, the local cats and occasional human victim have all learned just how accurate you can be with them.

"Better take cover"
"Yea right Like you can hit me from there"
"I can, and I will"
"Yea ok. whatever"
"Oh ye of little faith"
"YOWCH! Are you (%*#)@(&* NUTS?? That hurts!"
"Thought you said I couldnt hit you from here":D

That Nilsen Dog thing looks disturbingly like the 1978 remake of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers! You know the bit where the tramp and his dog get mixed up.

Oh yea. Outstanding show.

One of those I keep expecting to hear they are doing a movie of.
But we dont have those kind of actors anymore.

Richard Boone was perfect in that role.
He had that certain mystique about him that made him a perfect fit.

And too few actors have that these days. And none that I can think of today that would fit the role well

Might be a  great breakout role for an unknown though if they can find the right guy
