You don't open res files.

You must "Build" those edited tiles to "shapes" in the Object Editor: for ex. build the "ter0003.til" to "ter0003.shp".
After building you find the "ter0003.shp" from the userlib folder. Drop it to the texsrc folder and that's it!;)

again probably a confusion between a tile and a tile. Is it *.til or *.bmp?
Anyways, you should not rename them. They need the terr**** names to function properly.

Wait, I think kanttori has the correct naming, the difference is the single 'r'.
Yes?

The tiles have 1 r, the textures have 2. It seems likeky ted doesn't know the difference between the two.

:lol I think Hitech is trying to confuse me.
But hey, that's too easy to be any fun.:)
Thanks for clearing it up zmeg.

What I meant was that when people talk about tiles, they can mean either *.bmp or *.til and that often causes confusion.

It's better use "texture" when speaking bmp- terrain texture files and "tile" when you speak terrain tile with objects' overlay. That's clear! ;)
