How much of your favorite caffeinated bevarage would it take to send you toes up? Apparently it would take 117 cups of Joe to kill me, and I currently only have 115 more to drink today in order to test the theory...

Just drinking that much soda in one day is bad for you.

417.08 cans of Diet Pepsi
366.22 cans od Dr P
333.67 cans of Tab
-
thats just wierd. even as little as 3 gallons of water in a short period can kill you if your sodium levels go out of whack. and for the values you can get from that sight (ex.3000 glasses of choc milk@ 8oz each is close on 190 gallons) drink/eat enough of anything can put you down for good.

They don't have alcohol drinks containing caffeine there. "Red Devil" has 9% of alcohol, but - as JimBear said, even counting alcohol - I'll be probably dead from just drinking too much liquid.

"After 665.85 cans of Dr Pepper, you'd be pushing up daisies."
That's simply not true. I've downed 700 cans of Dr Pepper before, and only felt a little light headed and euphoric. I don't remember much after that, but I'm pretty sure it was all goodness!

I dont believe you can die from too much water. You would probably just get full and sick of it.

Quit trying to deflect attention from the fact you are quite porky

No, you really ca die from it. Some guy in MD died after drinking like 3 gallons of water for a 26 mile bike ride.
It does something to your potassium or sodium levels or something, like dilutes it, so you have a heart attack and die.
-
Dilutes sodium, causing excess fluid to move into places it doesnt belong -- most dangerously, the lungs and the brain. Sometimes can ooze into the space around the heart, compressing the pump enough that it cannot fill.
Worst is the brain swelling, since teh skull's rigidity means there's no place for the swelling to go. Compressed brain tissue feels no pain, but it doesn't work right -- so confusion, nausea, etc can happen. If swelling gets bad enough, brain tissue can die of circulatory starvation, or chunks of brain can bulge through the space meant for spinal cord and cause general, often rather permanent, havoc.
Too much of a good thing and all that.

Did anyone follow the links about where and why this guy made his site? I checked this link out and laughed my butt off
Bad Caffeine Trips (http://www.erowid.org/experiences/subs/exp_Caffeine_Bad_Trips.shtml)
I suppose that it was so funny to me because I can actually relate to some of these stories. Here is my story:
I was planning on driving from Sacramento California to Knoxville TN in as quickly as possible. I was working Swing shift 3-11pm and am normally an insomniac. Following work the family was already packed and we hit the road. After the first night of driving I had not been tired and drove all day. Well we were poor and on a budget so we decided to try and drive straight through with my wife and I trading out. On the second night she was having one of her moments and didn’t want to drive so I was stubborn/angry and decided to drive again through the night still without sleep now working on 48hours.
Ok I know now how stupid this was and regret ever doing it, but here is where it gets interesting.
I stopped during the night to get some Vivarin tablets because I was really getting tired @ 3am I had finished the first box. By 5 am they had worn off and I was really tired. I stopped for gas and a splash of water on my face and another box of Vivarin. Well I thought its just caffeine it can’t hurt me, so down went the entire box!!!!!
After about an hour I was pinging off the wall, I felt my body twitching and my eyes were blinking uncontrollably. I felt myself jerking the wheel just trying to keep straight. I was feeling a very real sense of urgency to get off the road before I killed us all. Well this angered my wife; she can be testy when she is tired. So I woke her and told her she had to drive. It was around 6am. I had just taken an entire box of Vivarin and now I cannot sleep. I was in the passenger seat with a pillow trying to pass out; this is when the stuff hit the fan. My wife was angry, it was snowing outside, and traffic was terrible and...did I mention my wife was angry? Ok so a large 4x4 lifted truck passes us on the left, we are in a 1993 Ford Escort. As the truck passes he throws a tremendous amount of snow onto our windshield and my wife panics, she turns the car to the right and off the road we go. We went off a huge canyon cliff I put my knee into the dash of the car and started screaming LOOKOUT!!!!!! The canyon was around a 3000 foot drop and we are careening to our certain death when I hear my wife screaming!!!!!
Ok so the part about going off the cliff wasn’t real, but I didn’t know it. To me that is what was happening. We were about to die. From my wife and kids perspectives though, all was normal but DAD!! He is screaming and jumping about the front of the car. Now my wife really panics. She starts jerking the wheel from side to side screaming WHAT WHAT????? OMG OMG!!!!! Now the kids are crying, I am screaming, my wife is screaming and crying!!! She locked the wheels up and pulled off the road.
Finally I came back to reality and realized I was hallucinating it all. None of the cliff stuff was happening. It was at the time hard to comprehend. And even today 12 years later I still remember this as vivid as it was the day it happened. I am telling you that it was as real as my memory of my wedding day. Both distant and both just as real. My kids still to this day remember the incident. We had to find a hotel and spent the day while we slept. I was so wired it still took me about 4 hours to come down enough to sleep. The twitching was completely uncontrollable.
So after reading the stories on those pages I for the first time realized what I had done. 12 years later I realized that I was possibly close to death or worse, killing my family. Glad it all worked out and I can laugh about it today.
