Whats the procedure for getting a computer with Win XP into safe mode?
   I want to install the new Ati drivers, but forget how to get into safe mode to do this.  Thanks

Press F8 before the windows XP logo comes during bootup. On some computers you need to press it immediately after or even during bios screen.

if you need to do any surfing such as downloading new drivers while in safe mode and you have cable internet choose safe mode with networking when you get prompt.

  Nah I always download the drivers before i remove my old ones.  Thanks, though.

   Anyone see an improvement with the ATI 5.8 drivers?  My son was hogging the game last night on his computer, so i couldnt check FR's etc on mine, and Im typing this from work so I can't check it now.
