What are your FR now and what are you wanting. What moniter and refresh rate. Is v-sinc on? What vid drivers. Have you cleaned and defraged lately? I probably can't help you as your system is lightyears ahead of mine but these are some of the questions your going to get for those in the know.

FRs are about 45 over water 30 in tower 12 in a furball 6 to 10 in gvs. refresh rate is 85 v-sync is on. 4.12 omega drivers and compleatly clean and defrag every week

RAM
What OS are you running? 128 is bearly enough to run XP and 2000 is sluggish with that also. Even with 9x I would at least boost it up to 512, 1gb would be best.
Also optimize you system if you have not. Here is one way to strip your system down to the bear minimum. Could help until you can get more RAM. Only works with 2000/XP.

Just FYI, the 9200SE card is a slower version of the ATI 8500 card. Much slower. You really are video card limited with your current configuration.

I can confirm that even a Duron 1400 was limited by what the 9200 could put out...........plus the 9200 caused bits of terrain to dissappear under win 98 drivers.

the 9200 is a pos ... my old gf2 mx 400 has more power then any 9200 ive tested so far ..
9800 pro would work great .. or even a 9600 pro would give ya way better fps all around.

go down to 128 textures
in AH slide all the sliders all the way over to "performance"
-
In the ATI Control Panel, under the 3D tab, you can set the performance slider one notch more towards performance, from the center default.
-
figured the card was crappy but its all i had right now....ty for all the advise
i run on XP Home btw

i agree, it's your card...i had a 9200se for a while and my old 64 meg gforce 4 actually out performed it. i have a sapphire 9600xt now and it's handles pretty much everything i throw at it, and the last i checked newegg.com it was under $100
